What kind of skin type do you have (dry, oily)? I don’t know of any products that would help explicitly with skin picking, but you could use some gentle and hydrating products to kind of calm the irritation and such from it

overall oily. i’m mainly thinking like.. i just need something that doesn’t burn and pulls the dirt out. I have a cleanser, I guess I’m just looking for moisturizer and blackhead treatment? My OCD really loves targeting the small blackheads that I shouldn’t be attempting to squeeze out, but do anyway and ruin my face. But do you know if I should be looking for face shit that explicitly sensitive skin? It doesn’t get irritated on it’s own, it’s just the open scabs and wounds that hurt.

I see! If your face doesn’t get sensitive on its own, you probably don’t need stuff explicitly for sensitive skin, but at the same time it wouldn’t hurt to use. Like I’d steer clear of stuff with alcohol and fragrances in it, bc it would irritate the scabs (and most sensitive skin products don’t have these ingredients anyways). For the blackheads, have you tried double cleansing with an oil cleanser? So like at night go in with an oil cleanser and then a regular cleanser afterwards

You might have to do a quick search to see if there’s oil cleansers better suited for oily skin (bc I have dry skin), but the one I use is called “DHC deep cleansing oil” from Target. Super easy to use! You kind of just massage it into your face (when your face is dry) and then emulsify it with water after a few minutes. Really helps with clearing the gunk out, and then just go in with your normal cleanser

For moisturizers (if you don’t feel like dropping a band on skincare lol), try looking at brands like CeraVe, Cetaphil, or Vanicream. These are all pretty gentle and suited for most skin types. It depends on your skin and what works for you really, but any moisturizer will do tbh
