For me, as long as they’re respectful of it and are actively trying to understand, it makes it easier to broach the subject. I obviously don’t know how your parents are, but maybe something like “hey I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I know it would make me feel a lot more comfortable. I know you guys don’t fully understand it but I hope you can support me in my decision”

that makes sense. I think I need to look into it a bit more but I’ve done enough research to know that our insurance will help with T (and potentially even top surgery down the line) which should also help I hope I pray
