worked in a restaurant where it was considered policy to greet everyone with ma’am/miss or sir and i HATED IT like the few times id have trans people in i was so thankful to see them perk up to being greeted the right way but as a nb myself it always made me icky that it was policy to gender people

Yeah I hate when people call me “miss” at work since I’m a nb cashier and dress femme😭 (even tho I’m wearing my pronouns pin)
