Hey everyone I’m getting into hockey for the first time this year. I initially wanted to follow Vegas because they seem good and they’re geographically the closest but it seems like they’re hated. Any other suggestions for teams for me to watch?

lots of fun teams in the west, Vegas, Edmonton, and St. Louis employ rapists unfortunately. you’d kinda be getting in on the ground floor with Utah as they only just moved there from Arizona!! Colorado is nasty though so if you’re looking for a proven winner that’d be the pick

if proximity is a factor definitely go utah (youngish guys, they play fun), dallas, colorado (already good), sharks, or anaheim (will be good).

Just for thoroughness I’ll add that the Ducks and Jets both have guys who were at the Kyle Beach coverup meeting (Quenneville and Cheveldayoff), Colorado has Nichushkin who had that really sketch hotel room incident in 2023, and Chicago has Ian Cole. Take this with a grain of salt bc idk how bad the other situations are besides Hart and Quenneville / Stan Bowman / Cheveldayoff bc I haven’t looked into them that much
