that’s the thing in the court of public opinion he isn’t innocent and when you’re in a job where fans and their options matter you kind of need the public to be on your side which it isn’t because say it with me. acquitted. is. not. innocent.

I understand acquitted is not innocent. It’s also not guilty. I’m not saying he’s a saint. I’m not even saying he’s a good person. But the bottom line is people want him in prison because they THINK that he did something and that should not be acceptable. The story of the Salem witch trials has been passed on for a reason

if anyone of us did that, we would be fired from our regular jobs. he got protected with canadian taxpayer dollars to ensure if it went to trial, he’d be safe.

You seem to forget that he WAS fired from his job. The Flyers released him as soon as charges were filed
