Honestly disagree bc not having OTL points would overly award teams being 3 on 3 or shootout merchants, neither of which happen in the playoffs

The Ducks in particular are a big example of this, they went 9-5 in OT, 8-0 in the shootout, and have the same amount of regulation wins as the Flames. None of that translates to the playoffs so I don’t like the idea of keeping teams out of the playoffs for being bad at those
