Nah man I know that Drake’s playoff performances were disappointing, but it’s crazy how fast the narrative has shifted. He’s a young QB who just had a highly impressive season, but the pressure go to him (literally and figuratively). He’s still the best

He’s really not. He beat up on shit teams and got exposed when he had to play real defenses

the narrative you're talking about was upheld by patriots fans, he was always average at best even against that weakass schedule

Daniels at least is 100% better when healthy

He had good games again good defenses in the regular season. I think it was just a playoff choke more than anything

There’s no way if you watched him you would think he was average at best, you’re just hating. The talent is all there, he just needs to be mentally tougher

He didn’t play a SINGLE defense that was top 10 in points allowed in the regular season

He played 4 games against defenses that were top 10 in yards allowed

But anyways, multiple things can be true. He’s a very good quarterback with a lot of upside and room to grow, he also played an easy schedule and struggled in the playoffs

The titans and jets were second and 3rd in yards allowed in 2024 it’s an INCREDIBLY flawed stat, which doesn’t account for turnovers and field position gained on special teams. Like the saints are one of those 4 games

Alright bro I guess we’ll have to see how their careers play out

Also why are you conflating being a bad team with being a bad defense? If anything, the big flaw in points allowed is that if your special teams or offense is bad, opposing teams will often have good field position, and have a high chance of scoring while leaving the defense on the field for a lot of the game. Points allowed punished good defense with bad offenses

I’m saying the saints had a bad defense I’m not conflating being a bad team with being a bad defense. There’s no flaw in points allowed. Eagles were 5th in points allowed despite having a terrible offense, which directly disproves your point. Just accept that maye is overrated mid and didn’t play any real teams
