i gotta rant about the dolphins yall. it hurts. every1 calling for Mcdaniel head but F Office does nothing for him to succeed. they opted for the bust in the first round, kenneth grant, over Tyler Warren when they needed TE badly. all bc grant went to UM.

To be fair they also badly needed a DT along with other things and there’s a chance they draft Sadiiq who fits McDaniel’s scheme better

They actually didn’t need te at the time the Ramsey and Jonnu trade happened after the draft. Also the season isn’t even over yet you can’t really label grant a bust. Look at Jordan Davis on the eagles took a minute but he’s great now hardly a bust

yes because Jonnu Smith is an absolute rocket of a TE. Is he even the starter for the steelers?

Eh i’m not sure about that. Mcdaniels loves a wide, motion offense, and Penn had Warren involved in a ton of motion and trick plays. he was a perfect fit in miami if the front office was smarter than a 5 year old.

Jonnu smith was great in 24 lmao. Even made the pro bowl. 900 yards 8 tds as a tight end with Tua as your qb is no small feat. Steelers just don’t know how to use him lmao plus their te room is stuffed pretty full what with Darnell Washington and friermuth. At the time Jonnu and Ramsey were traded for Minkah Jonnu was the more valuable asset

You do realize that players can learn new offenses ? Also like I previously said they needed DT, the offense has some holes while the defense had a ton. Also like #2 mentioned they had Jonnu at the time of the draft making TE not a massive position of need.
