Idk why Eagles fans get so butthurt over people saying Hurts isn’t a top 5 QB, having a top 5 roster is way better than having a top 5 QB. Just ask the Bengals how well having a top 5 QB and not a top 5 roster is going

Because most criticisms don’t hold any water when you actually look into things. People say he can’t read a defense but he has the best audibles in the league. They said he can’t throw it deep and then he bombed it out against Denver (he would’ve had 400+ yards if not for the DPIs and Dotson toe tapped). They said he’s just a game manager yet he leads the league in game winning drives (active QBs since 2020 iirc).

Because people talk shit on Hurts just because they don’t like the Eagles. And really only talk about the tush push (obviously there’s tonight… but, anyways)

Can’t throw against a blitz and this season and last he’s the number one passer against the blitz. The season before that he was top 5, the one before that he was middle of the road. Tush push merchant yet has some crazy rushing highlights and is the only qb who can actually run it successfully with consistency. Every flaw is HEAVILY over played and every strength is diminished to nothing for no reason. I don’t think he’s #1 but he’s at worst top 10 and frankly he’s better than being #10.
