Not worse than last year. Worse than the giants defense. Hate to break it to you it’s still Jeff Simmons and JFM with no help. No LB Help and a weak secondary. Yes our defense will be better than last year cause of Saleh but this off season was an offensive rebuild. Our defense is still depleted.

Also Dennard Wilson is a great defensive coordinator ( giants current DC and former titans Dc) the issue in TN was not scheme it was talent. He had nothing. Saleh has the same nothing Wilson had. The odds of a significant improvement over night are slim.

I mean fair but like we are talking about an on paper argument. There is no coach in the league that would take the current titans roster over the giants roster. Both should be better but this is crazy and I’m a TITANS fan.

dart regressed when daboll left and has to deal with matt nagy calling plays now. they've already said it'll be a run first offense but people just act like skattebo will be the same less than a year after snapping his ankle in half.

and the titans roster undoubtedly has holes but I feel like saleh proved he can at least make do with backup quality players when his starters were dropping like flies last year

Yes but my only point is comparing these two its giants every time. I don’t think they will be picking top 5 again but there’s a gap that talent can’t overcome and yes Saleh is a great defensive mind. I watched Dennard Wilson tape the titans together like glue. Guess the coach that can ward credits for his development last season? Not anyone on offense it was meeting with Dennard Wilson in his free time and going over the opponents defense. The giants have an up and coming superstar at DC.

That made me laugh. But seriously the people who are high on the titans are a year early. It’s too much new this season with at best an inexperienced roster. We will be relying mostly on rookies and mid to late round second year players who were injured last season. A 5-12 record is my prediction but we got blown out every single loss. This improvement this year will show in how competitive they are
