I wish the Raiders didn’t draft Jeanty and doom him to their mediocre at best OL. There’s legitimately people watching the boxscore calling him overrated and a potential bust. That still has nothing to do with him being a “traitor” to the Giants. Also players always de-commit to go to better schools, does it suck? Yeah but that’s just how it is. Also if I was a top 3 RB and my options were the poverty Jets (fan team) or the team near home that is also much better, I’m going to go to the team near home that won’t waste my talent like the Giants already did.
Crazy thought it’s bc the Eagles are closer to home and a better team. People do the same thing in real life too if their company’s competitor offers someone a little bit less salary but better bonuses, health insurance, and incentives. If I’m a top player in the NFL and my choices are staying loyal to a dysfunctional franchise or getting paid decently but also being able to win rings, I’m going to go the winning route and so should everyone else.
We’ve seen it too many times in sports with players deciding to stay loyal to garbage franchises and having not a lot to show for it. That’s cool for some people, they rather collect a check and do whatever but a lot of people are competitive and want to win and that’s why people join winning teams. Sure be mad at it but I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same.
Dude I think you’re looking too far into this man, it’s not that deep. If this is just a bit you’re doing then it’s fine and kind of funny but if you genuinely think like this you need to let it go. You should not be this obsessed with someone who doesn’t impact your day to day life, that’s not healthy. Sports are also entertainment, sure it sucks to see your favorite player go elsewhere especially to a rival (ik how you feel bc I’m a Thunder fan and wasn’t happy when KD joined the Warriors)
