All that capital just for the Texans to be in the same spot they were with Watson. Elite defense and consistently in the playoffs, but can’t get over the hump

That has nothing to do with football tho. Not defending him, because watching gable Stevenson get starched last night was amazing, but his off the field actions don’t mean anything towards his on field performances

What does his allegations that are now multiple years old have to do with Watson’s ON-FIELD performance? It has nothing to do with football. And the big difference between Watson and Stroud is that Watson wasn’t throwing them out of games when he was there. Watson certainly was also helped by his elite defense but he was no scrub for the Texans.
