I still can’t understand the Brock disrespect. He was more than serviceable last season with most of our offense being injured throughout the season. I don’t know what more he needs to prove

If I’m being completely honest as a semi-casual fan since the 49ers were pretty mid last season they got absolutely no media coverage aside from negative coverage from not living up to expectations and injuries and whatnot, so I personally haven’t heard or seen much of purdys play last season unfortunately, I’m assuming the majority of nfl fans are similar to myself and rank him pretty poorly as a result

I mean yeah I’d go as far to say that we were bad last season. Mid is being generous if I’m being honest. Brock wasn’t perfect and for sure wasn’t anywhere near what he was in 2023, but people act like it was his fault we sucked. He did solid throughout the season given our circumstances. He can’t control injuries or the defense collapsing in the 4th quarter every other week
