Possibly but they could also be playing the long game. I could see them giving Jones a similar contract to Darnold where after 1-2 years they get an out

If the Rams called and are able to trade a mid round pick for him they would. AR still has a lot of upside but the Colts staff have done a pretty poor job of developing him.

You’re one of those people…AR’s biggest issues are pre snap identification and mechanics. He’s a known project who has shown multiple flashes of the QB he can be if given the right coaching. He’s worth a 4th if a team wants to take a flyer on him and even still then the Colts will likely bargain for more as they’re trying to develop him for the future.

Bro, I’ve said AR could be like a RB or a tight end shoot I’d say the same thing about Hines king because they are both mobile QBs who are not known for passing ar has a pretty deep ball but is not accurate in medium to short yardage situations

Being that you JUST became a fan I don’t expect you to understand how a project player works. They’re not going to be good right away but they show flashes and you work with that. He has good pocket presence, has a strong arm, and has mobility, he’s also very hard to sack which is very good. And no AR often doesn’t attempt to run until the play looks to be done such as no one getting open, he’s looking to pass the entire time. He struggles with accuracy.
