Thank god the giants traded him to the bengals of all teams. Only 1 year 28 is a blessing. Now Jalen Carter won’t be nearly as expensive to extend

He’ll want 41 and he’ll get 35

*his agent will want 41. Carter was asked about this a year ago and came out and said that that feeling of winning the superbowl and how happy they were all in that locker room after the game meant more to him than the money. 35 is a good number. The edge market has gotten to a quite frankly unacceptable level, and I just don’t want the dtackle market to become that way as well. Plus 35 would still make him the highest paid dtackle, which he deserves to be 100%, even after a down/injured year

Are you predicting that he’ll take 35 or begging God that he does so

Lmao with how good Howie is with the cap I doubt the 6 mil makes a massive difference but I think HE will gladly take 35, I’m begging god that his agent actually agrees with it and doesn’t try to ramp it up, they’re the ones responsible for all these wack ass contracts after all. In no universe should Will Anderson jr or any edge be making qb money. Non qb contracts should be capping out around 35-40 mil, not up into the 50s, making more than Mahomes
