It bothers me a bit the way people talk about Kyler. Yes he’s a very flawed player who can’t put down the controller. But people talk about him like he’s not a generational athlete with 4.3 speed and an MLB arm

What prompted this post was a guy in Instagram comments saying Daniel Jones is a better athlete than Kyler

If he ran a 40 today he’d probably run a 4.6 or 4.7, the injuries have really hampered his mobility, and he wasn’t a pitcher so idk what you’re trying to say about the “mlb arm” by that same logic aj brown has an “mlb arm” since he also played outfield and got drafted in the mlb. Also there’s no official record of Kyler actually running a 4.3 he didn’t run the 40 at the combine or his pro day he just said that in Feb 2019, and when he did he said it happened 2-3 years earlier, 2016 or 17

You have to have elite arm talent to play baseball regardless of position. Everyone has to throw the ball, not just pitchers

And you can maybe buy me on him running a 4.5 rn, but no shot a 4.7
