This isn’t hating lol. The bears have a tremendous foundation for success but this isn’t a playoff football team. You can have comeback wins in the season and get away with it. It’s far harder to do in the playoffs

As a Bears fan, I see us at best this year going to the conference championship. Whether or not we can sneak into the 1 seed. I think that if we gotta run into Seattle or LA it’ll be tough. Seattle will not let us get away with a 4th quarter comeback late. And don’t get me wrong, I hope I’m so wrong. But not sure if it’s our year

If we keep building the way we’re going and told me we’d be in the SB and/or win in the next 2-3 years I’d believe it

That I agree on. This is your “hey look at us. We’re a threat” year. The oline has seen a bit of improvement (mainly wright) and Caleb is slowly getting the hang of things. It’s just the defensive consistency I’m worried about yk? It’s a young roster. Those guys will grow and when that happens is when the sb window will truly open

I laugh bc we’ve been so known for our defense and the year we’re weak there we’re actually “better”. And again maybe I’m wrong and we just somehow end up back in Santa Clara for a 2nd time this year who knows. I’m here for the excitement man, Chicago is so excited rn

There’s a few things that yall need to open the sb window imo. Someone opposite of sweat to have a better pass rush, LB3 to develop into the guy yall drafted him to be, CW13 to continue to develop (extremely easy with Johnson as HC), and continue to feed the run game (iirc yall have most rypg) bc that really opens up the playbook. It’ll all happen naturally but you got the two hardest parts of the rebuild done: the right HC and QB
