Anyone who denies that Boston sports fans are spoiled ROTTEN is living under a rock. That city somehow always has a championship caliber team and they’ll win rings in the most infuriating ways possible 💀💀💀

i can agree with that, the people that act like we’ve had the worst luck out of any nfl team just because we had a few rough years piss me off

Let me be salty, I just wanted something new instead of the nightmare KC-New England blunt rotation

I have seen more heartbreak than success in my 20 years of life as a Boston fan. Super Bowl 42, 46 and 52. 2022 nba finals, 2017, 2020, 2023 ecf, Tatum Achilles injury, 2013 and 2019 Stanley cup, 2023 blown 3-1 lead, Red Sox 2011 collapse, I could go on

real as hell, those people legit act like the Celtics don’t exist either. In fact, Tatum’s been out injured and the Celtics are the 2 seed in the East in the NBA. Y’all are THRIVING right now

The Red Sox would’ve been a better pull here, they have been kinda painfully mid the last few years, some promise having made the wild card last year but overall oof

my point with the bruins is more so that since 2011 we’ve had some painful losses lmao

that’s fair, especially considering the last time they were in the playoffs, they lost to a Miami team, which is self-explanatory as to why that would be painful

that was so devastating 😞 regardless we have some great teams and we aren’t in as much of a drought as some other cities

Also in that time: Super Bowls 49, 51, and 53; 2011 Stanley Cup; 2008 and 2024 NBA Finals; 2007, 2013, and 2018 World Series Anyone from another city would DIE to see their favorite teams win 9 sports championships in their lifetime, and at least be able to remember 7 of them.

I’m 22, so Super Bowl 39 and the ‘04 World Series were held not long after I was born. If the Patriots win this Super Bowl, that’d legit put it up to 12 championships Boston teams have won in my lifetime. Y’all simply have it really good because even through that heartbreak, your teams find a way to win rings at a high volume.

Alr fair enough but for me I always remember the heartbreaks more than the success

That’s honestly fair, it hurts so much when that stuff happens. Fr though, enjoy every minute of this Super Bowl whether the Patriots win or lose it, just the team getting there with a second year QB is tremendously exciting. Sadly, I was born near Philly (dw I’m not one of the crazy fans), so I’ve seen just 3 championship wins in my lifetime (‘08 Phillies, Super Bowls 52 and 59), so the wins are far more memorable to me than the heartbreaks are (there are so many I could list here 😭).

Damn bro I get your vibe I’m just gonna lower my expectations and be happy we made it this far😭 I fw Philly fans tho nobody has passion like that, plus the eagles and Phillies are still contenders fr
