Lions will by far be the worst team in the NFC next year. Might even finish with a top 3 pick.
Kerby Joseph career ending injury
Brian Branch Achilles
Jared Goff 70 million cap hit
No draft picks
Bad OL
have you seen some if the nfc bottom-feeders? they'll at least be better than the saints and giants.

They have a lot of top end talent that will keep them from being that bad. Their ceiling is low but their floor is high

Wait kerby’s injury was career ending?

That top end talent will be on IR by week 5

You can’t predict injuries

You 100% can. 2024: Lions lost Hutch, Alim McNeill, Carlton Davis, Amik Robertson, and David Montgomery to injury
2025: Lions lost Kerby Joseph, Terrion Arnold, Brian Branch, and Christian Mahogany to injury

Plus Sam LaPorta, Brock Wright, and DJ Reed for most of the year

None of those guys except for Hutch and maybe LaPorta are “top end talent”. You have a hate fetish on the Lions and it’s weird

Kerby Joseph was a 1st team all-pro safety in 2024 and will prolly never play football again (degenerative knee issue)
Brian Branch, the best DB on their team, suffered an Achilles tear and may not even play next season (plus next year is his final year with the team anyways).

Terrion Arnold was a 1st round corner drafted to be CB1

Alim McNeill was paid like a top 10 DT in football and hasn’t been the same since injury

they literally struggled to beat a hospital squad giants team a few weeks ago

It likely will be. Hasn’t played since week 6 and it will best case scenario force him to be load managed. Degenerative knee issue

Saints and Giants have a bright future. Lions will never be better than they are right now, which itself is not very good
