It’s more about getting compensation for him, I could also see the Giants going after the Bears ‘26-27 first instead but with Dex needing a new contact and the Giants being forced to make a trade I feel as if they won’t get a lot of value for him. This deal is somewhat similar to the Q. Williams deal.

I see what you’re saying, but the Giants are by no means forced to make a trade. Dex still has two more years on his deal, and they don’t need to trade him.

I get that and they could definitely workout a deal and smooth the waters, I was just exploring a trade in this scenario though.
