Very good draft but I’m not a fan of Simpson. IMO Mendoza is the only QB worth a 1st round pick. I also don’t really like any of the other QBs to be drafted in the first 2 rounds. I think the Steelers are better off running it back with Rodgers (if he comes back) or seeing what Howard has. If Howard is good then they got a steal if he’s bad they’ll pick high enough in next year’s draft where I believe there will be better QB prospects.

Just not a Howard fan. Simpson is a 2nd round grade imo but the Steelers have a WR room to make it work. He absolutely has the tools to succeed and with McCarthy’s track record with QBs I’m confident in Simpson working out for Pittsburgh

I’m not much of a Howard fan either but I’m also not a fan of Simpson. Dude isn’t above 6’3, has a small/avg frame. Has an avg arm, isn’t a great athlete and just doesn’t really have anything special about his game. I feel like QBs like him who don’t have a ton of upside aren’t worth a top pick. I’d much rather fill in other holes and push off the QB decision to next year instead of reaching on someone this year.

I also believe that McCarthy was brought in to develop Howard and see what they have in him
