NFL is literally a January thing to me lol. So many big games in college basketball. NFL’s “big games” are irrelevant i mean the best team in the league is 5-4

That’s funny because college basketball games are more meaningless right now. A loss in the regular season in the NFL can keep you out of the playoffs but a loss in the regular season of college basketball won’t even mean anything if you win the conference. March madness is where college basketball gets its meaning

I agree with this though

Best team being 5-4 is insane. Duke went 34-4 last year. NFL has so much parity that the games literally dont matter

You are proving my point. Duke going 34-4 and not winning the national championship means that March madness is what matters not a regular season game

The national champ went 32-6 or something. The best team is supposed to have a good record like Ohio state OKC the dodgers and Florida

Not fucking 5-4 lmao. How is the super bowl favorite nearly 500 in November?

You are changing the argument . I’m saying that an NFL regular season game is so much more important than a regular season game in college basketball because of the points I brought up. First of all there are less games in the regular season and the parity of the NFL that you are talking about makes each game that much more important to go far in the playoffs

Actually parity makes the games matter less because a 8-9 team can HOST in the first round

To host in the college football playoff you must be 10-2 or better. A real sport

That’s only if their division is bad. If you look in the past, most 8-9 teams didn’t even make it past the first round, only exception is the 2007 Giants and the Seahawks who made it to the 2nd round

They shouldnt even be there. Seed by record not by division. And shrink the playoff too, 50% of the entire sport should not get in. Even march madness only has 68/300 something

Im saying college football is a real sport that rewards success. In the nfl every point spread is 3 points unless a bottom feeder is involved, the games are literally random

And in the nfl the winners usually arent the richest franchise, which makes NO sense
