There 100% is a correct answer. Not getting the 2 ruins momentum and basically ends the game. Kicking the XP ensures you still have life and something to try for

Kicking the XP is the safer option but if you get the 2 on the first score that gives you a ton of momentum, it’s a gamble but not necessarily a wrong choice.

hella coaches would pick going for 2 earlier on the principle it’s easier to know what you need than not, plus being down 15 vs. 14 is still two TDs, you just need to get a 2-point conversion
But if you get it to 13, 2 TDs and 2 extra points and you win
