It wasn’t even racist, not only was it accepted by native Americans, it was based on an actual guy. And also if you’re naming your sports team, why would you want to name it after something you want to mock? You name it after something you respect

“The natives” meaning the Blackfoot tribe. The redskins logo was made by one of their chairmen and was modeled after Iron Tail and Two Moons. Wasn’t a problem before shouldn’t be a problem now.
