Drake maye hasn’t been that good. Maybe he will get there but the defense is carrying that team and idk if they can do that against the Seahawks

As a Pats fan it’s tempting to excuse him bc of how good the Texans and Broncos defenses are, but I definitely agree with you. Going into the postseason I wasn’t expecting them to make a run this year, I thought it would be more of a “learning experience” type playoff appearance. Maye and some other guys have looked jittery at times from that lack of experience imo.

yeah I agree and that is expected, being jittery in your first playoff starts isn’t an indictment on Maye at all, he’ll be fine, most great QBs struggle to start their career, just look at the narratives around Peyton Manning as a generational choker for nearly the first decade of his career

even with the jitters he’s still looked pretty good even if he hasn’t looked great
