I want to know the why. Cause if he actually called him the n-word and his mom the c-word the fan def deserved to be punched. If it was actually cause of his full name then he shouldn’t be allowed to play.

Idk, I think it’s just a misdemeanor and a $500 fine. He could be suspended for a game but not much more than that depending on the circumstances of the assault. If he had a history of punching fans I’d understand it but I think we just ban the fan from games and give him a week or two suspension.

I hate to break it to you. This isn’t how the world works. You don’t get to physically hurt people because they call you things.

I just think the legal system will take care of that part. The nfl should be based on their rules and the why. The why sways jury’s in actual court too. While not written into the rules it does matter. Perception and mental state are key components of any act

It doesn’t matter. If you did what he did to a customer at your place of work you’d get fired. Regardless of what the customer said to you. It’s appropriate to at least punish him.

Why would we ban the fan when they’re the victim

Because they’re is past precedent if a fan can’t control their words. Basically he allegedly said something super offensive. I’m actually super curious what the witnesses will say

Garrett only got a 6 game suspension for hitting someone full force in the head with a helmet That could cause permanent brain damage and he only missed out on 6 games DK barely pushed a guy and gets a 2 game suspension
