Some people feel that way bc a lot of fans of ass teams just dickride hurts because they can’t accept that he’s good. But the real truth is he does his job at a high level and is top 10 in almost everything from completion % to deep ball throws to rushing yards, td throws, turnover ratio. Dickriders just close their ears and say “eagles fans” but never actually acknowledge what he does irl. Then they contradict themselves and use these same standards to rate another qb higher

Go look up Prime Russ highlights, Jalen is not doing anything that hasn’t been done 2. “Elite”, he rode to the super bowl on the back of Saquon with one of the top defenses in the league. Eagles have stat padded on some shit teams doesn’t mean he’s suddenly elite just because his stats are up there. Look back at games like the bears and chargers game where it wasn’t a lousy team and he struggled, and that’s after what we’ve seen the bears and chargers struggle. If they didn’t have a weak schedule to end the year they would have been said to be limping into the playoffs even with hurts having that roster

You trade Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar, or any other top qb and they probably excel that squad even more than hurts has. If that’s the case, he isn’t elite or a top qb. And I don’t think he’d have the same success in those other places

1. Tf Russ gotta do with rn he hasn’t been in his prime for years. We talking about current qbs 2. 2022…. Hurts has been doing ts no matter the scheme or the personnel he’s been successful ever since he was a starter. Even 2023 which was his worst year he still made the playoffs but our defense sucked ass so we got bounced out. 3. Stats + wins tell the story. He’s the most clutch qb in the league. By far the most consistent playoff player in the last 4 years. And he’s shown that a qb is more than just throwing for 4k. Other than Lamar and maybe Allen he’s the best dual threat qb itl. His rushing numbers say so. The fact that he was the 3rd most tds for a 5 year starter in nfl history says so. The fact that through his first 4 seasons his numbers and accolades rival that of prime cam newton says so
