Why is the first thing that comes to your mind Brock Purdy getting injured? Not Mac Jones starting on another team or even winning the qb battle against Purdy

Niners don’t plan on letting him go somewhere else

He’s under contract with the niners still and would have to be traded, which I don’t think anyone plans on doing unless rogers retires rather than return to Pittsburgh, even then doubt the niners would let him go given purdy’s injury history

Because if Mac was going to start on another team they would’ve traded for him already, and he wouldn’t win the qb battle against Purdy unless Purdy got injured. You know why? I’ll give you a chance to guess the big, 265 million dollar reason. Hint hint: it’s also the reason Purdy started again this year once he was healthy despite being worse than Mac in the last game he’d played, and why he didn’t get benched until there were 7 minutes left in the divisional round blowout
