Here’s another interesting aspect to this, that means it’s techincally lateral move and not a promotion (even tho he’s a GM now), which if the bears knew, they could’ve denied the interview. Falcons did the exact same thing to their DC a few weeks ago when he wanted to interview for a different DC job. Scummy organization
