no that’s breaking the law, I mean yeah that could matter, but HoF nominations have nothing to do with someone’s personal life, it’s to recognize exemplary individuals to the sport of football, someone who doesn’t respect sportsmanship or the rules of the game doesn’t deserve that kind of praise
Wells Report said it was “more probable than not” that 2 Pats employees deflated footballs and that Brady was “probably” “at least generally aware” of the plan. 11 of the 12 balls were all 2 pounds per square inch deflated, they were all that way, if it was an accident maybe you’d see some variation in the inflation? Plus the Pats employee literally texted another one calling himself the “deflator” and described how he took them into the bathroom to do it
I should’ve clarified my positions, he appealed in appeal court, but accepted defeat there even tho that’s not the technical legal end of appeals, he or the Pats could’ve escalated, and if innocent, likely could’ve won against the NFL, I think it speaks to the legitimacy of the accusations that Brady and the Pats chose not to appeal further
I did a report on this whole thing in middle school bc again, I was a Pats fan, just bc you don’t know your shit doesn’t make me a salty Broncos fan, I could give af, I knew it was over once we lost Nix, plus I have infinitely more respect for Vrabel and Maye than I do for Belichick and Brady
Youre dead wrong…. He took it to appeals and the 2nd court reinstated it. Based on evidence that balls that were measured pregame, were 2 lbs per in deflated by halftime. With no evidence directly linking anybody but brady didnt have enough to overturn. He appealed, they just denied him his appeal…
Yes, and guess what, he could have chosen to appeal to a higher court, like SCOTUS Just bc you don’t know how the legal system works doesn’t make me the idiot https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/17083595/tom-brady-new-england-patriots-appeal-suspension-supreme-court Article says Brady dropped out of the appeal process despite urges from Pats owner Robert Kraft and the NFLPA, almost as if Brady knew he was guilty, but Kraft and the NFLPA didn’t
Not even a bandwagon, I grew up in Colorado and started cheering for them after Peyton retired, my first year of being a bronco fan was Trevor Siemian or however you spell his name You keep making statements that are false and then insulting me, if all you have are lies and insults, what are we doing here? 😭
No i havent but by the way you talk it seems youre very hypocritical. Bc you do knowthat you cheered for the pats when they apparently “cheated” accordng to you. Ya dummy. Also since im sixk of arguing with you bc you clearly dont know shit, 8 superbowls. 1 in a year where he “cheated”. Thats still 7… go cry mea river.
I didn’t know bruh I was a lil kid, 10 year old me didn’t know about Spygate I was too busy eating ice cream and building legos 😭 And again, cheat once, how do we know he didn’t cheat other times but got away with it? Cheating makes all your accomplishments questionable, we’re just talking in circles since you either think a. He didn’t cheat (factually wrong) or b. Cheating shouldn’t disqualify him from the HoF (which would be a difference in opinion) We can have a diff opinion, that’s okay
Again I don’t care about the Pats, happy for Vrabel and Maye, bc they’re not proven cheaters? Like idk why you Pats fans can’t wrap your head around why someone may dislike Belichick and Brady and not just be a Pats hater? Drew Bledsoe is in like my top 5 fav QB highlight reels ever Not a salty Pats hater, a salty Belichick and Brady hater, but I think my salt is reasonable considering the whole SpyGate and DeflateGate controversies
Belichicks scandals provided less of a competitive advantage than teams that actively tank for a better draft pick and player. Wanna know who started the tanking trend in the modern nfl? Bill polian, the same dude trying to crucify belichick. He also pumped in artifical crowd noise, and gave linemen hearing aids (which are illegal). Crucify belichick bc he was with the pats and won, but youll have to crucify every single person who “cheated” as well
a. Tanking isn’t against the rules. It’s actually encouraged by the rules. If the worst teams get the best picks, tanking is a viable rebuilding strategy. b. Bill Polian literally voted to induct Belichick so idk why you’re bringing him up c. Yeah, I’d say Bill Polian shouldn’t be in the HoF either because of the crowd noise thing. d. The hearing aids thing is just an unfounded accusation from what I could find online, no formal accusations or anything, just petty Twitter comments
Tanking actually is against the rules if u interpret them a certain way. How do you know bill polian didnt lie about who he voted for, as the controversy came out before he said anything. Correct polian shouldnt be in. The hearing aid thing has as much evidence as spygate or deflategate has…
