And the “Adam Gase of Defensive coordinators” would likely have 2 or 3 Super Bowl appearances if he had a clutch QB who didn’t consistently come up short in the biggest games

Why does he get a pass for not coming up big? He didn’t have to let the Chiefs walk down the field in 13 seconds, he didn’t have to give up 32 to the worst Chiefs offense in recent memory, he doesn’t have to let Andy Reid beat him like a redheaded stepchild and yet he does because he’s just not that good and never has been. Josh Allen being clutch is immaterial to McDermott being more ass than a donkey with a BBL

He shouldn’t sniff a head coaching job again, he should be regarded like Eberflus. He gets good PR because having Josh Allen basically guarantees 11 wins as a floor in the regular season but without him McDermott would be nothing just like he’d be nothing without Kuechly
