 I think I’m actually becoming a fan of Shough. CJ and Jayden were great playmakers and were so fun to watch in year 1 but Shough has complete control over the offense and commands it in a different way. It makes me think he won’t slump as a sophomore

Shough is what people like about old college players. They’re smart and have been around long enough where they don’t need cuddled as much.

Technically he can’t slump because you have to have a good year first in order to slump

That was what I liked about him as a prospect. He’d seen everything and he struck me as a low ceiling high floor guy, but that was before he got to the nfl and somehow got a better pocket presence. The guys is playing much much better under pressure than I expected and Moore’s got him coached up to run this offense really well. I don’t think they’re winning the division next year but I really don’t think they’ll have a top 10 draft pick either

To clarify I liked that he was smart not that he was old lol, 26 years old as a rookie is blasphemous

Oh yeah I agree his age is wild but if he just continues to get better then it won’t be an issue bc he’ll be hitting his prime around when most guys do. That’s usually why people don’t draft older QBs bc they’re afraid they won’t hit their prime if they’re not good at first even tho that’s the whole reason for drafting older prospects. I’m very curious to see how Shough plays out along with Nix & JD next year.
