I won’t be surprised if the bears get bounced in the wild card and then go 6-11 next season.

Wouldn’t be surprised by the wildcard bounce but I’ll be very surprised if they can’t go .500 next year

Why not? They have a 4th place schedule this year, 3rd easiest SOS itl, won a good couple of games by either one score or through a miracle, and have a first place schedule next year. I think it’s very possible they go under .500 and i think they’re overachieving this year

Exactly my point. Same thing also happened to them in 2018 when had Matt Nagy.

I trust Ben Johnson a lot more than I trusted Nagy and I think poles SHOULD (we’ll see tho he’s infamously unaggressive) get a little aggressive to maximize Caleb’s rookie deal. A lot of guys on this team are super young & some still have the stink of Eberflus’ coaching on them, so I’m hopeful that they can keep developing. I’m obviously hopeful that they can do great things next year but 9-8 is kind of the bare minimum expectation for next year

I am worried that this coaching staff is gonna lose some key pieces tho and that could have a damaging impact

Well, next season with a first place schedule will be a real test for them.
