The Patullo and Hurts discourse is funny. Too many people side with one or the other for the offense being mediocre when it’s both their fault (at least 70% Patullo). Hurts limits the offense you can run and Patullo isn’t creative.

I think 70% Patullo is where I’d put too. Hurts hasn’t played well since the second giants game right before the bye. But I believe the scheme is the biggest issue. Hurts has shown he can play well in a good scheme

Hurts limits the offense the same way someone like Goff or stafford limits the offense. They work well, very well in good offensive schemes. But in a bad scheme they can’t elevate the team to the next level

Goff yes, Stafford no. Stafford doesn’t limit offenses. QBs like Goff, Darnold, and Tua limit offenses but when in great situations with great play callers they can play at high levels.

Yeah even tho Hurts has clear limitations the Eagles are built to hide those as long as they have a good/great play caller and that’s been shown before with Steichen and Moore.

Stafford is a bad example because his only limitation is mobility

And you don’t need a ton of mobility to play QB, you just need to know how to work a pocket which he does.
