You have no idea what government subsidized means or how sports teams run do you?

the joke is the state government would fund each of the teams (government grocery stores), they wouldn’t be able to keep up with the other regularly run teams (normal grocery store chains) and they would all collapse! hope this helps dumbass because i can’t believe i had to explain this joke to you!

If you think the point of the government owned stores is to compete as a business with for profit stores you’re a moron, and second the nfl is already socialist lmao

Okay they can’t compete with large chains we agree, why would that make them collapse? Subsidizing is the government putting money into something, so not being able to keep up with bigger brands is not even remotely a problem, and I can read just fine you’re just wrong

The ENTIRE point of government owned stores is to provide cheap goods to its citizens, I don’t see how Kroger making more money affects that goal at all

Where did I say that the point of the stores was to compete with them? My point is they CANNOT compete with them. They are unsustainable and would be terrible for New York Citizens. Like I said in my explanation. Are you incapable of reading or comprehending anything? Boy socialist bootlickers never get any less stupid lmaooo

how would they provide cheap goods? who funds them? what will the products be? how would it not distort the market? would they even profit? why not just build more grocery stores with that money? this policy is so hilariously stupid and makes zero sense

Your “explanation” was “they can’t compete and collapse” and that was it, not much to read and certainly nothing to comprehend, WHY is it terrible for the citizens and WHY does not being able to cause them to fail, If I can’t read you certainly can’t write, you just said Nuh uh and started name calling

They provide cheap goods through tax funding, taxes on the top 1% fund them, normal grocery products, it would distort the market by taking away customers who want cheaper goods, why would they build corporate grocery stores with tax money? This policy is very well explained to anyone who thinks about it for more than one second

please tell me if this is correct. You think that the government, will fund the stores for its citizens, at no extra costs to its citizens, and will somehow provide cheaper products than other grocery stores all at the same time.

That is the actual policy yes, I’m not sure you realize how much even a 1% tax on people making $1,000,000+ annually makes, they still get some of the money back and ideally on a larger scale it would be able to get cheaper goods through more diverse subsidizing of agriculture (govt really only subsidizes corn and wheat which is why a LOT of our food revolves around those crops)

what happens when the top 1% leave as a result of those high taxes, who pays them then? what happens when every single citizen starts to go these stores instead of main chains because of the cheaper products? how would they not run out of groceries? where do they get them from? Who funds that? I can literally ask questions all day because it is not a well explained or well thought out policy and is truly idiotic. It wouldn’t work. They are going to run out of money.

BRO THERE IS NO WAY YOU BELIEVE THAT 😭 Here’s a tip: if you’re believing in socialist policy, and believe that you won’t even pay a single cent more as a regular new york citizen, you’re dumb and not worth speaking with.

If the 1% were actually going to leave it wouldn’t be bc of a 1% increase, it’s already an incredibly expensive city, they live there because they want to, if you wanna ask dumbass what if’s the whole time I can answer, if more people start going there it wouldn’t be all at once, it would be a trend seen over time that they would adjust to, but also it would cause the big businesses to cut their prices too, the free market would balance out, and if they run out of food guess what, they BUY MORE

I mean they might eventually raise taxes on lower income, but I genuinely do not give a shit if my taxes go up to feed hungry people instead of getting shipped out to Israel so they can bomb more children

Thank you for finally admitting that it is bad for its citizens! Raising taxes on lower income citizens is dumb, especially when they could just use the funding to build REGULAR grocery stores instead. The government getting involved in the economy is a humongous red flag every single time. especially when the ramifications include driving out the middle class just for existing.

in summary my main joke was this: every nfl team has normal salary cap, each new york team including buffalo all shares the same salary cap. Buffalo gets dragged down to the other teams levels so that everyone suffers. The mamdani way everybody!
