I think it’s somewhat fair, I haven’t paid a lot of attention but it doesn’t seem like DJ wants to be a bear + he’s getting closer to 30 and WRs near that age don’t have a lot of trade value. I think it’s fair to get a 2nd round pick and a young WR that still has some upside despite having a slow start to his career.
See I don’t believe Coleman has upside because I didn’t like him as a prospect either. The trade itself is decently fair for the reasons you said but I’d be livid if it went through, just because Buffalo gets a low end WR1 to help them contend and Chicago gets a guy who is young but useless. I feel like we lose
I get being low on Keon but if you look at a lot of the trades involving WRs near 30 that aren’t like a top 5-10 WR they usually go for around a 2nd-3rd round pick at best. I think getting Keon is just a plus to getting a 2nd round pick bc maybe he just needs to go to a different situation. I still have some faith in him and think he can be a good WR2 or WR3 and Ben Johnson is a much better offensive mind than Joe Brady.
