Radical idea: replay reviewers shouldn’t know the call on the field. They watch the replay in slomo at every angle, and they make the call. “Too close to overturn” just means the refs’ real-time view somehow outweighs the reviewers with all their angles
Why? It makes more sense for a close play to be called by refs in real time? Than someone with every angle and slo mo who’s reviewing the play anyway? Wouldn’t take any extra time, just increase the rate at which plays are called accurately
