The type of plays remain the same bc the HC has remained the same. A player most certainly can be carried to having better stats especially if they’re surrounded by great talent such as a top 3 OL and multiple players that are top 10 in their skills position or at the very worst are serviceable.

The offense has not been the issue for the Cowboys since they got reliable WRs and a run game. The Cowboys got eliminated bc of their defense. The Eagles consistently struggle on offense bc Hurts limits the offense and avg at best OCs every other year can’t figure out how to scheme around Hurts clear limitations.

He’d have the weakest arm amongst starting QBs if Rivers didn’t come out of retirement. Can’t throw intermediate passes, holds the ball too long, doesn’t throw with great anticipation, can’t throw with pressure in his face, sometimes struggles to move off of his 1st read (was exploited in playoffs) can’t operate under center (limits run game and pass game). Hurts is amazing for college, mid for the NFL.

He has more deep ball throws this season than Josh Allen and the Eagles oline has been historically bad this season he gets pressured every snap

Throwing the most deep balls and being good at it aren’t the same, and even then there’s a difference between when a qb needs to put some air under the ball and fling it far vs when they need to get the ball to their receiver quickly so they put some zip on it

No it wouldn’t, it just means he can’t put zip on passes and that he’s more susceptible to throwing ducks

Throwing a ton of deep ball passes to Brown and Smitty should mean you complete them. Even still then Brown & Smitty are constantly bailing Hurts out. Stats don’t mean shit when you add context.
