I mean there’s something there for him to be a backup but I think it’s mostly bc he just never really developed at all and bc there’s nothing really crazy about him as a QB. There was a lot of people that sold his stock closer and closer to the draft once more people really broke down his film. Lastly I do believe his spine injury is a concern as he may have to get surgery on it which is probably also dropping him.
