He won a playoff game with the BROWNS that’s like one of the greatest achievements you could have as a head coach. He’s an amazing coach just needed a change of scenery

He also is partially responsible for trading for Mr. Happy Ending and then last season handled the whole QB situation from this season horribly

Well tbf that was actually the owner. Haslam said that the Watson trade was forced by him and took full responsibility for it. Plus they did think they were getting a top 10, top 5 qb at the time

Except he wasn’t even partially the reason. Belichick’s era is long over. Head coaches, especially playcalling head coaches, rarely have a large say if any in drafting and trades. Mike vrabel for example despite literally being a ceo coach had to watch helplessly as the titans traded away aj brown in a move that destroyed their entire franchise. On the flip side of that trade, Nick Sirianni who’s also a ceo coach obviously supported the decision but it was all Howie who made the trade
