Rodgers just needs to retire man. He’s ruining his legacy by playing more seasons.

He’s still got juice left in the tank but he needs to take on a lesser role and let others do their job. He wants to go somewhere that’ll allow him to have some say in how the WR room is built and play calling. If he’d take a vet minimum and play somewhere like the Vikings (memes aside) he could extend his career. Skill wise he’s not that much different than Stafford. He doesn’t have pinpoint accuracy on deep throws anymore but he can still fit it in there and still has the arm to do it.

He’s still throwing bombs but he shouldn’t be a starter (tho I know his ego will allow nothing less)

Trust me he’s still a starter in this league, he just needs to give up the idea that he’s still a superstar and take a more game manager role.

I can also see that he doesn’t need to play hero ball

But our (Steeler) receiving core wasn’t doing him any favors this season and he still will pulling off some miracle

Unironically he needs to either take less money in exchange for more input or keep asking for a ton but not get his requests in exchange, he’s trying to have his cake and eat it too

I’m not saying he isn’t incapable of making special plays still. He just doesn’t have a full tank to do it as often as he used to in his prime. Going somewhere that’ll allow him to play smart turnover free football while not having to carry the team is what he needs. The Vikings have that when the OL is healthy.

Yeah he still thinks he’s a superstar QB and the entire engine of an offense when in reality he’s now just a solid piece. A lot of people like that find it difficult to accept that and take on new lesser roles.
