He had no idea it was hamstring right then either. He’s never torn his acl or Achilles so he very well could’ve thought that was what happened. He had one of the most painful injuries in sports and it happened in an area where most injuries you can’t walk away from are season enders. He was completely justified to cry right there

Exactly. He didn’t know what it was or the severity. He probably thought all the work he did was for nothing and was beyond frustrated
