There’s a handful of family owned and operated franchises but the Bears are, in my unbiased view (panthers fan), the most recognizable one. They’re the second oldest franchise in the NFL. Moving out of their namesake city is an incredibly dumb decision
Why people upset if the bears move to Indy?
Jets/Giants play in NJ, 49ers play in Santa Clara, Cowboys play in Arlington, Bills play in orchard park, etc.
I’d also argue that the Bears are one of the few teams where the franchise really reflects the city and vice versa. Moving them out alienates a very hardcore fanbase
