Historically, the Bears are actually the most penalized team in the NFL by a wide margin… just saying

Not arguing with that, but this year in particular has just been so weird for us. The announcers don't even understand the flags were getting

Oh yeah that game was straight bullshit, but short term fuckery doesn’t outweigh long term duckery

If only all bears fans could keep this same logic in terms of them “owning” the Packers

Caleb Williams is better than Jordan Love, but I wouldn’t say we “own” you

That’s your opinion, I think they’re both great top-tier QBs but obviously I’m biased towards Love being better because I watch him way more. That being said, you’re the most sane Bears fan I’ve seen on here today🤝

Just look at their comp % for this season, Jordan is at 59.8% and Caleb is at 71%. Even though Caleb missed 3 weeks, he’s still more than 10% higher

Caleb also has just 1 interception this season compared to Jordan’s 5. Stats-wise, Caleb is better.

Jordan throws significantly longer passes on average tho. And the Packers lead the league in drops by a wide margin. So I wouldn’t take completion percentage to be a deciding factor. And Caleb has thrown less picks because he played half as many games. Again I think they’re both great and both top 10 in the league. I’d just take Love cuz he makes some ridiculous throws (not that Caleb can’t also, just haven’t seen as many from him yet)

Now I know damn well you were watching that playoff game last season when Caleb made MULTIPLE ridiculous throws 😭😭 I would say that he hasn’t thrown as many so far this season because he hasn’t needed to, our offense is relatively consistent and reliable so there’s not been a need for Hail Mary passes. I think that Jordan is not in the bottom 10 quarterbacks in the league, but he’s also not in the top 10. There are many other quarterbacks that have better stats than Love, Caleb included.

There are 3 quarterbacks in the league with 50+ TDs and 15 ints or less, and 2 of them are unanimously agreed to be great quarterbacks (Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes). The other one is Caleb Williams. I personally believe that he’s considered controversial because he’s unconventional and people have an issue with that, but he’s been extraordinary in the few years he’s spent in the league.
