Imo Tomlin was the least of Pittsburgh’s problems. Their GM literally came in 4 years ago with the goal of building as old and washed of a roster as humanly possible. They win 6 games with an average coach
I’m not saying no but honestly being mid consistently only hurts them. Never good enough for a title but never bad enough for a good team changing pick. Purgatory

But what I’m saying is Tomlin was making a terrible roster average. If you bring in a new front office, they might be able to give Tomlin an actually decent roster that he can take much further

Yea I agree with this take tbh, tomlin isn’t a bad coach by any means but change was needed, similar to the harbaugh firing, and also the belicheck firing years ago

Ultimately they canned the coach instead of the front office but that’s also easier to do, I think it woulda been the better call to keep tomlin over the front office tho
