 My main issue with hurts is twofold 1) underachieves with an insane roster 2) crazy meat riders that make preposterous excuses for him and make hilarious and untrue claims and comparisons

And before you get up in arms about the underachieving part: if his team is truly that talented he wouldn’t be 16th in passing yards and tied for 9th in TD throws

This year his roster/skill positions regressed like crazy. I think he’s around a Goff level passer but maintains accuracy better after sacks and has a scrambling ability with a low top speed.

That one is a bit of a stretch yes but it’s a counterpoint to the “his surrounding cast is crazy”. Yes playcalling is a part of stats but again- if Hurts is that good, good enough for people to compare him to Brady (the unanimous 🐐), he would find a way to achieve
