That’s not the issue, only defensive penalties allow a replay of the down. You do not get a replay of the down if it’s an offensive penalty. The clock hit 0 before the TD, and with pass interference on the offense, the steelers were allowed to accept and with no time left on the clock the game is over. You can end on an accepted offensive penalty, you can’t on a defensive, there must be an untimed down if the defensive penalty is accepted.

And even if it was ruled forward progress stopped, there would’ve been a 10 second runoff.

I think y’all forget that was 4th down. Steelers would have gotten the ball back if it was ruled forward progress.

Oh yeah lmao. But yeah they’ve got to make some ruling. Whether it was a TD or forward progress stopped, it wasn’t counting. Two OPIs within a couple plays was wild but they were both the right call. Cope harder ig.
