Rams are going all in and rather not take a chance that a rookie CB can hold their own as a potential CB1. Their secondary more specifically their CB room was pretty weak last year and this acquisition makes it a ton better especially since they’re likely not resigning multiple other solid CBs that are FAs for them. This also allows them to be more aggressive with the 12th pick especially if someone like Downs falls bc of injury concern.

I don’t think we’re gonna get k9, if we were to get anybody it would be etienne. We just couldn’t pay the guy, and we never extend dbs bc we can develop them.
