Ravens who famously draft extremely well traded 2 first round picks…

They’re making a push while they still have a good window. Giving up 14 sucks but the other pick will likely be a late pick which doesn’t have much worth. Teams that are contending and picking late are sometimes better off trading those picks for known contributors rather than swinging on a player.

Man they drafted Rashad Bateman first round. Just because EDC has hits don’t mean every year gonna be a hit

Ravens have way too many holes on their roster to be trading those picks away for a declining pass rusher. They’re coming off an 8-9 season and missed the playoffs, and he gives them a SB window and instantly makes them betting favorites? This is the NBA equivalent to James Harden being traded to the 76ers

Getting Max actually fills a hole. Outside of getting rid of Faalele and replacing Linderbaum they don’t have massive holes. They have needs yes but they aren’t some mid tier team. The Ravens played poorly bc of bad coaching and injuries which is why they cleaned house.

Hyping up an 8-9 team with 0 firsts is actually embarrassing 😭 The ravens have a terrible CB room, lost an elite center, need a guard, TE, WR, and LB all while they’re $12M over the cap. Overpaying for a 30 year old coming off his 8th surgery in 7 years who is already showing signs of decline is front office malpractice

They have serviceable WRs & TEs while still having a good RB room. Ravens also have 2 very good & young safeties, Beeks is likely to return, and they still have solid pieces on defense. You’re acting like 1sts are guaranteed gold when they’re far from that. Also IOL don’t get drafted very high, teams have had a lot of success at drafting IOL in later rounds which I fully expect the Ravens to do. I also fully expect Minter to cook up nasty defenses with what the Ravens have and sometimes to

Better the secondary you beef up the pass rush which is what Crosby is for, you don’t need him to play at a generational level when Beeks is coming back and when Minter is going to terrorize offenses with Hamilton & Starks. The Ravens do have a good enough team to compete rn, get an opinion of your own and stop recycling useless Twitter narratives.
