If you like your family and friends, one day when you’re older you can still remember grandma or your family during a specific time of year. Me and my bf are atheists I’m an atheistic pagan and my best friend is muslim and we both celebrate christmas culturally with our families, not religiously. I’m anti capitalist but i love pulling out the decorations, baking cookies, etc
I also like the classic movies, the winter clothes, the music. There’s no logic to a cultural holiday, you have to look at it from an emotional one and know that it’s a time of year that means a lot to a lot of other people. If you don’t empathize when you don’t care about the subject at hand then you’re not really going to get it, again, it’s not something grounded in logic
